This policy explains what information Local Test ("we," "us") collects when you contact us, schedule service, or receive text messages from us, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Name, phone number, and service address you provide by phone or text
- Pool details you share to scope the work (pool size, equipment, access notes)
- Service history (dates, services performed, technician notes, before/after photos)
- Call recordings and text message history with our office line
- Payment confirmation records (we do not store credit card or bank account numbers)
How we use it
- Scheduling and performing the service you booked
- Sending appointment confirmations, reminders, and arrival notices by SMS
- Answering your questions about scheduling, pricing, and service
- Recordkeeping for your account, billing, and warranty claims
Text messaging (SMS)
We send transactional and customer-care text messages from to customers who have opted in. You can opt in in two ways:
- By giving verbal consent during a phone call with us, or
- By submitting the sign-up form on https://app.45.63.1.39.sslip.io with your name, phone number, and the consent checkbox.
Either way, we record the consent on file. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled appointments and any conversations you start with us. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
To stop receiving texts at any time, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP or call us at the number we texted from. Opting out does not remove you as a customer, it only stops automated and conversational SMS.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent customer information to anyone. We share information only with:
- Service providers we use to run the business (telephony, SMS, calendar, payment processing), under contracts that limit them to performing the service
- Government or law enforcement when required by law
Mobile information (your phone number, opt-in status, and SMS conversation history) is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We retain customer records for as long as you are an active customer, plus seven years for tax and warranty purposes. Call recordings and SMS history are retained for two years unless deleted on request.
Your choices
- Ask us what we have on file for you
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete your account after your final service is complete
Security
Customer records are stored on systems we control, protected by access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
